Daniel Sexsmith: Maker of Sex

Ashley just told me that my blog has been good lately, THANKS ASHLEY! This one's for you.

And now bring on the suck! Because I know I can't keep up good bloggin for long. And why not you ask?

I noticed that people's blogs are much like their lives. Of course, this is only natural, as the person blogs about their life. So if their life is good, their blog will be good. Likewise, if their life is bad, their blog will be bad (and by bad, I mean depressing or sad or full of angst). And if their life is boring, their blog will be boring, which my blog was at for quite a bit, and maybe even a little bit at the bad for a few posts back there when nothing was going my way.

That's what life (and blogging) is. A cycle of goods and bads, one cannot always be up and one cannot always be down. A person may stay and one or the other for an extended period of time and they may feel that they will always be either happy or sad (most likely sad, because you really don't dwell on things when you are happy), but eventually the mood will change and a shift towards the other side will begin.

So right now, I guess my blog is at a happy phase, or at least one where I blog good stuff, at least that's what I've been told.

But what is kind of odd is that nothing really "happened" that made me be "happy." I guess everything just seems better after that whole week of bullshit that I had to deal with two weeks ago. Or maybe I'm beginning to be able to shrug off the meaningless crap and look at what is really important. Yeah, that's what it is. Hopefully. ;-) I guess the whole point of this last mini-paragraph is about perspective. Can we really judge our experiences and give them value (whether they be happy or sad) without another reference point of which to judge them? Is that why everything, while we are in our infancy, seems so interesting? Because we are developing our reference points and the only reference point that we have before bouncing on a ball is sitting in our own crap?

Whoa, that post got way off topic. Uh, yeah, anyway, thanks again for the compliment Ashley and I know you won't read this till at least Wednesday haha.

Oh yeah, and please forgive any lapse in logic/continuity of this post. It is pretty late and I'm running on a few hours of sleep and a bottle of coke. I also don't feel like proof-reading it and doing corrections (just like always!).
