Daniel Sexsmith: Maker of Sex

It has been brought to my attention (by a certain someone) that I don't blog anymore. Well, it has been almost a week since my last post, so I guess that is kind of true, but I've just had nothing to blog about really. Anyway, here goes my blog about nothing, this one's for you, Kira.

I have a couple of project going on in my life right now, too bad none of them are overly exciting, but here is the rundown of them:

Project the First: Cleaning out my pool. This sounds rather easy, the pool is drained and my mission is to get rid of all the water that has collected at the bottom and sweep/scrape all the crap off of said bottom. So I checked out the pool on Wednesday, doesn't look too deep, maybe a foot or so deep, barely any water right? WRONG. There are at least 500 gallons of water that I have to empty out BY HAND because my dad said it didn't look like enough to warrant buying one of those huge vacuums to suck up all of the water. So I've spent a couple of hours or so going into the water, scooping up about 5 gallons at a time, walking up a tiny hill (my pool slopes down a pretty decent amount, just enough to make walking up it a pain), walking up about 4 steps, each about a foot tall, and throwing the water through a fence onto my yard. Boy is it tiring. But that's not the worst part, the water is absolutely disgusting. A variety of strange creatures have claimed it as their home, there is some strange red plant growing along the bottom, mold everywhere, a bunch of shells that somehow got transplanted there and a slimy coating to the bottom of the pool. I can barely step on it without slipping, but I have to get into the water to scoop out a decent amount. Oh yeah, it smells like shit too, I'm not sure if it's the funky plant or the numerous creatures (dead and alive) that stink it up, but it stinks. I've done about half of it, and I should be finishing it up soon... but it's just gross.

Project the Second: I haven't really started this project yet, but it is to weed the backyard hill. A fairly large and steep hill full of cacti and bees nests, spiders and rabbits (one family of rabbits lives on our hill), this project might prove to be a bit difficult. But I've done it before in summers past, so I know it can be done.

Project the Third: Find a job. This has been and ongoing project for a while, and I actually did find a job. But it got me nothing, the only this it actually gave me was probably the record for shortest held job. A whole whopping 3 hours. I got the job, then I received a phone call from the woman that hired me 3 hours later telling me that she didn't need me. I already had my whole next week planned out and everything. But now instead of working, I get to work on finding a job.

Project the Fourth: Almost done, but to finish it, I need to finish Project the Third. It is to fix up my car completely. All that is left is to replace the clutch. It is still driveable but there is a trick to driving it so the clutch doesn't "slip," meaning that the car essentially goes to neutral while you are driving it, not good. But I've figured it out as to where it hardly is a problem, it would just be easier to drive if I didn't have to worry about damaging my engine block every time it slips into neutral.

Project the Fifth: I've been eating healthier and starting to "work out." I put work out in quotes because as of right now I'm hardly doing anything, it's just too boring. I'll have to find some sort of motivation, but I've lost 10 lbs already.

That's it, are you happy now Kira?
