Daniel Sexsmith: Maker of Sex

Monday: "be gay for a day day." This day wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, but this may be because of my logic behind the whole thing. I thought this: Straight Dan doesn't (or hardly ever) makes a move on a girl, so why would Gay Dan make a move on a guy? He wouldn't, so I didn't. All Straight Dan ever does is flirt. So I tried to flirt with guys but they just thought I was being funny and we laughed and laughed. My heart was breaking on the inside :( This day helped me discover that the life of Gay Dan would essentially be the same as the life of Straight Dan. Well, except for the whole social outcast thing, but that's about it.

Tuesday: "discreetly give everyone the middle finger day." This day was fun and easy! What I did most of the time was walk around with my hands in my pockets. BUT I had my middle finger sticking out. So if you walked past me today, BAM! You got flipped off. Highlights: In earthquakes lab I pointed to the map with my middle finger while I was discussing it with my TA. Man, he sure got dissed.

Today: "eat nothing but asparagus and see how noxious your pee can get day." There is NO WAY I'm doing this day. First of all, I hate asparagus. Second of all, where would I get said asparagus? Sure, there is a grocery store right off of campus, but all of the fruits and vegetables they sell there are quite past the ripe stage. If I'm going to have to eat asparagus all day it would have to be the best damn apsaragus ever!

Now for some good/bad news. I took the Spanish placement test last Friday and I received the results yesterday. I passed out of Spanish I. I know you're probably thinking "is that bad or good?" It's both. Good because now I have one less year of Spanish to take and can just right into Spanish II. Bad because I personally don't think I'm ready for Spanish II and I also TRIED to do badly on the placement test. Maybe I just think I tried to do badly... I've never actually tried to fail a test so I don't know if I was doing it right. I hope I'm ready for this class, I sure have forgotten a lot of Spanish since I took it about 3 years ago.
