Christmas is over the goose is no longer fat
so walk over to the poor man and stick him in a vat
if you haven't got a vat, then a deep frier will do
if you haven't got a deep frier than no poor man for you!

something along those lines. The jolly season is over, New Years is on the way, 2005, the fifth year of the apocolypse is coming!

I had quite an awesome Christmas, probably the best one that I've had in a really long time. It started off looking like it was going to suck. There was the possibility that my dad would have to work on Christmas day, but instead they just made him work (from home, thankfully) from about 1 am to 4 am Christmas day. I didn't get ANY sleep that night just because my sleep schedule is so messed up (however, it may be somewhat fixed now. I slept "regular hours" last night. From 2am to now) so I was in a drained state and kinda grumpy so not really wanting to do anything. I fell asleep on the ride to my mom's house, which is about an hour long drive, fell asleep there for about 2 hours and then fell asleep on the ride back.

Anyway, on to why it was great. So my dad and I arrive at my mom's house and I notice something strange. I can see my mom inside but as soon as I arrive she closes the drapes. "Great," I think to myself, she's been acting rather strangely lately and I hope she doesn't act like that today. We get inside, sit down on the couch and start chatting with my mom and my sister. My dad tells a somewhat long story about his work and how stressed out he is. I notice that all 3 stockings are out. Mine, my sister's and my brother's. I ask "Why is Victor's stocking out?" My mom says "Sentimental reasons." And my dad talks for about five more minutes. Then out of nowhere, my BROTHER comes out of my room and says "Geeze, don't you ever shut up?" It was honestly the best surprise I have had in a looong time. You all know me, I never really get emotional about things, if I like something I'll say "I like it" and smile, but I don't get all giggly and giddy like some people do. However, this was the first time I had seen my brother in almost two years (i think it's more like one year eight months) and I think I almost started to cry.

So the whole family was together for Christmas, something that didn't get to happen last year. We opened gifts. I got much needed clothes, a much needed car radio (yessssssssssss), some CDs, a book and some art supplies. Good stuff and pretty much everything I asked for! The rest of the day was standard fare. Good breakfast, watched some movies, dinner. My brother and I pretty much talked the whole time until a friend came to visit him, a girl named Angelica. She was pretty awesome and easy to make fun of, and that's where I shine. So I always had something to say :).

THE END.

How were your Christmas days?
