Happy Birthday Kira!

Friday, April 09, 2004

Wednesday: "apple core thingy, tree 20 years park day." Yeah, I ate an apple and tossed an apple core in McCarthy Quad. I guess time will tell if this day was successful.

Today: "release a red balloon day." No red balloons available. day postponed. maybe I'll go buy one tomorrow at UV (you up for it Megan?)

Tomorrow: "go on the wrong side of the railroad tracks/electric fence day." uh oh... kinda scary given my area and the fact that a USC student was mugged, beat up and shot to death less than a week ago... I think I'll skip this day for my own personal safety.

NEWS: MY shirt arrived today! Here are PICTURES.

it says "the lightning bolts emphasize how badass he is"

anyway, it's freaking awesome and I can't wait to show it off! WOO!

I was called a ladies man today because I had two (2) GIRLS on my bed :-o. But the guy called me a ladies man while the girls were IN MY ROOM and they HEARD him. Now, ladies (all four of you that read this), you tell me this: Would that lower my chances of getting some? If some guy called me a ladies man while you were sitting/laying on my bed? Just curious.

Thursday: "how politically correct is your circle of friends day." There are a few check boxes that have an ethnicity near them and I'm supposed to say which ethnicities I'm friends with.
Caucasian: wow, lots of my friends are caucasian. Kira, Megan, Katie, Ashley, Sharon, Cory, Jimmy, Cadie
Hispanic/Latino: ME! David, Tyler (claims he's hispanic, i bet he's lying), another Daniel, Luis, Jose
Japanese: Di Ann, Johnathan
Chinese: Jen
African American: Mika, Ashley, April
Native American: Geronimo, Sequoia
Pacific Islander: Hope, Roger
Indian:
Other Asian: Lucy, Ke, Sun, Candiss, lots more

uh oh, looks like I don't have any Indian/pakistani friends... this needs to be remedied IMMEDIATELY!

Friday: "become an expert on TODAY! day" I told myself I'd do this one next friday since I didn't look at it until late at night. It consists of finding out the weather in zambia, world population, moon-earth distance at midday. Simple stuff.

Saturday: "today, start to eat a piece of furniture day." I was very skeptical at the start of today and I really didn't want to eat a piece of furniture. But, I DID break off a little splitner sized piece from my bed and used it like a toothpick, chewed it, and eventually swallowed it when it was very soft. This day will take a long time to complete.

Sunday: "celebrate nature, lure a fly onto this page and swat it here (red box) day." I didn't do today because i was at a class fieldtrip ALL day! Maybe next weekend.

Monday: "sit in the lotus position for 30 minutes today." Done and done. I did it while sun was at work. My legs cramped up a bit :-
Today: "demonstrate the arbitratiness of human timekeeping. Isn't it odd that half of humanity should sleep while the other half are awake? Call someone you know across the ocean in the middle of the day and share this insight with them. day." I dont have the number of anyone across the ocean to share this insight :(

Tomorrow: "throw an apple core in a park. Come back to that spot 20 years from now to see your apple tree." I can do this, I just have to get an apple, eat it, and toss it in McCarthy Quad. WOO!

Anyway, not a whole lot has happened since my last real post. My weekend was supposed to be a bore but I was given a lot of little things to do (by Kira) and it was like a little fun adventure! My post detailing every single little thing that happened in the morning on Saturday was part of those activities I was given, there were much more. So that was fun. On sunday I had a class fieldtrip... oh man it was SO long! It was interesting at points and boring at others. The 6 hours of driving definitely didn't help... message me if you want pictures.

Monday I slept in pretty late, skipped work and was all around lazy. Sure, I got a lot of homework done, but I didn't really do anything. Good day :)

TODAY: work, class, hang out with megan, go to grocery store, long distance phone call, watch movie blah blah, work on interview. Another good day. Hopefully this keeps up :)
