I'm blogging from the FUTURE! Isn't that crazy?

anyway, i had a pretty good day today. hung out with megan, had good food, saw kung fu hustle, ran into an old friend of mine. overall pretty good.

now, about kung fu hustle. i'd recommend this movie to anyone who likes silly movies and kung fu movies. You don't even really need to like kung fu movies, just overall silliness and you'll enjoy kung fu hustle. as long as you don't think to yourself "you know, this is really quite dumb" because even though it WAS quite dumb, it was still quite enjoyable. it had great characters. particularly the lady, i'm sure those that saw it know who i'm talking about.

the friend i ran into today was a guy named David, whom i had known in highschool. he looked a lot better than he used to (he's actually put on a little bit of weight, but he looks a lot happier/less crazy). it was nice talking to him and it was nice to see he's doing well. too many of my old highschool friends or acquaintances have kinda gone downhill.

the end. now draw a pig! (post below)

edit: note: if you change the date to a year ahead to cleverly "post from the future" like i did on this post, it will come before all other posts you make that have the correct date if that date falls behind the "future date" that you set this post at. so be careful if you want to be awesomely clever like me.

Draw me a pig. Post your results in the comment and find a way to send me the drawing. I'd like to see it :)

Poll: Should Daniel buy a parking pass for school? He hasn't had one all semester so far and has not gotten a ticket yet. A ticket would cost him $60 while a parking permit costs $35. Should he risk the rest of the semester and possibly get free parking???! VOTE NOW.

1. He should not buy a parking pass. He's too cool for rules.
2. He should buy a parking pass. Better safe than sorry.

I had a rather rude awakening this morning. Around 6:30 am a group of people decided to play their own rendition of Dueling Banjos with chainsaws. I must admit, it was fairly entertaining for the first two hours, but by the third hour it was just tiresome. However, their occasional "HEY BILLY BOB WHAT THEM THERE CHAINSAW IS GOOD FOR TREE CUTTINGs" and "YEEHAWs" helped break the monotony. Just when I was about to fall back asleep, the whole house started to shake. Unbeknownst to me, my dad hired a plumber last night to fix the water leak we had. The plumber had to re-route one of the water pipes and in order to do so he had to take nice chunks out of the wall. So a little pounding with a sledgehammer to shake the house was in order. Around this time I just decided to give up on falling back asleep and just settled for six hours of sleep. Pity me, even though I'm sure most of you got even less than that, I just felt like telling a story. :)

A new pope was elected today for those of you that weren't able to watch for white smoke and ringing bells every minute of the day. Joseph Ratzinger is his name. Ultra conservative, iron fisted, ex-nazi youth group member, near entering his eighth decade of life and somewhat evil looking (do a google image search and you'll see), he sounds like the PERFECT choice for the spiritual leader of catholics around the world.

Now it's time for lunch. What should I have? (guess this is a second poll)
-Quesadilla
-Grilled cheese sandwich
-ham and turkey sandwich
-pepperoni pizza

and this

That's all for now.
