My weekend so far: (i figured it's about time i blogged again)
Friday: woke up at 8:30 and went to my final class! Well, final non-final class. Finals are next week, so I still have class just not class class. I was practically in and out of class. I went in, took my final and turned in my final project (a poster) then the teacher let us go! It was sweet, I was looking forward to coming home and sleeping since I got a wee 4 hours the night before. But I forgot one thing, my sister's graduation from SDSU! So I didn't get to sleep but instead had to drive down to San Diego for that whole event. Congratulations to her! After the graduation I went to a party, was quite fun. Lots of hot chicks, good food, fun times! Then the sleepy drive back home.
Saturday: not quite as exciting as Friday. I still had to wake up at 8:30 to shower and then head on over to Perfect Car Repair or some such crap name like that for an oil change and smog check! Wait, smog check? NOOO I needed a smog TEST, even though the paper said "take this to a smog check station" and then in little letters underneath it said "smog test center only" and I failed to see that because I'm a newbie at smog tests. So I blew my chance to beat the traffic for an early oil change/smog test. But never fear! I had a nice coupon for some other place to give me a really cheap oil change and then a place nearby that does smog TESTS! However, the stupid place LIED. THEY DON'T DO OIL CHANGES EVEN THOUGH I HAD A PAPER THAT SAID THEY DID. Shouldn't that be like false advertising or something? Jerks, but oh a place near them does oil changes... after a three hour wait. No way I was going to wait that long. So off to find another place.
Luckily for me there is a Jiffy Lube near my house. Kinda. Not too far. Jiffy Lube was AWESOME. I fully endorse Jiffy Lube to all three of my readers out there. Today was customer appreciation day so everything was $10 off and they gave me some free filter cleaning stuff to boot. And free donuts and free coffee, which would have been awesome if I liked coffee. But the donuts were good. And they were done in about 10 minutes. Jiffy Lube, I love you.
Then to the smog TEST center. I found a small little place that that didn't look busy at all, unlike the other places I had been to. I figured I'd take a chance and head on in. I forget the name of the place, it was quite generic like "Smog Test Center." Everyone inside was pretty cool, one of the employees just that there and played his acoustic guitar the whole time while chatting it up, it made the time pass quite quickly and i was out in an hour. Woo. Now here I am. Getting ready to leave in a bit again to go hang with some friends. I should get some sleep soon though, Im running on about 6 hours in the past two days.
